From my first typography class, this project aimed to create informative posters for a movement of some sort, and as an advocate for mental health care, I wanted to find one centered around that. That’s when I discovered The Movement for Global Mental Health (MGMH), which describes itself as “a network of individuals and organizations that aim to improve services for people living with mental health problems and psychosocial disabilities worldwide.” My goal was to create posters that were pleasing to the eye, but still looked as if they were created to be put up in a doctor’s office.
